Zines/Pamphlets

During the post-Stalin era uncensored, illegal copies of manuscripts (known as samizdat) were reproduced by hand and passed from reader to reader. This practice to evade state-imposed censorship was dangerous for anyone caught possessing or copying such materials. We don't live in a country like that...do we? Recent laws redefining domestic terrorism by such organizations as ELF, ALF and others could lead one to a different conclusion.

Last Word has a large catalog of pamphlets (also known as zines to the ultra-hip) available through our storefront and various digital channels. Many of these titles discuss activities of an illegal and highly dangerous nature, while others provide detailed information on lens grinding and blacksmithing. More often than not, these samizdat zines are nothing more than philosophical discussions of alternative world views.
